The JATS-Con 2026 Call for Proposals Is Now Open
JATS-Con, the user conference for the NISO Z39.96-2021 Journal Article Tag Suite, will be held as a pre-conference day associated with the NISO Plus Baltimore conference on February 16, 2026, at the Marriott Waterfront. This year, presenters unable to join JATS-Con in Baltimore may participate virtually. (Please note that the main NISO Plus conference is an in-person event.) JATS-Con is seeking papers relevant to the use or non-use of the JATS or an extension such as the Book Interchange Tag Suite (BITS), TaxPub, or the NISO Standards Tag Set (NISO STS).
