Support from the information community has enabled us to keep the annual NISO Plus conference affordable, so that everyone in our community can participate. A record 35 organizations sponsored NISO Plus 2022, and we hope that we can continue to count on your support for the first NISO Plus Forum, a new, in-person event that will provide a bridge between the virtual NISO Plus conferences each year.
The 2022 NISO Plus Forum will be held at the AGU headquarters in Washington, DC on September 20, 2022. The theme is Metadata: Structures, Exchange, Identifiers, and the focus will primarily be on practical work in small groups, to help shape the focus of the NISO Plus conference and NISO’s standards development priorities more generally
Sponsoring the Forum is a great opportunity for your organization to engage—and raise your profile—with product managers, community managers, department directors, heads of functional units, and others, from publishers, libraries, vendors, government agencies, and more.
Sponsorship packages
Sponsorships are available for $5,000, $2,500, $1,000, and $500; we can also work with you to create a custom package to meet your budget. All sponsors will be included in sponsor acknowledgements during the conference, banner ads on the NISO website, and pre- and post-conference promotions (eg Twitter, LinkedIn, blog posts, etc). You will also receive the attendee email contact list (excluding those who have opted out).
Sponsors at the $1,000 level and above will receive additional benefits on a first come, first served basis, as follows:
- Gigabyte – $5000 (one available): Two free registrations, sponsorship of lunch including introducing featured speaker, two promotional items (one on display table, one on attendees’ chairs)
- Megabyte – $2500 (two available): One free registration, sponsorship of morning or afternoon break, two promotional items on the display table
- Kilobyte – $1000 (five available): One free registration, one promotional item on the display table
