Tova Harris, Librarian, Longwood Public Library
Tova Harris (she/they) recently completed her Master of Science in Information and Library Science at the University at Buffalo. Her work explores library makerspaces, archival theory, and community-centered memory practices, with a focus on equity and participatory documentation. She is a writer for the ongoing NYLA series, A Tale of Two Makerspaces, and an editor for WOC+LIB. Her research examines how informal learning environments can support inclusive storytelling and community-defined archives.
Messoomeh Niknia Librarian, Institute of Art History, University of Cologne
Massoomeh Niknia works at the Institute of Art History, University of Cologne, Germany. She has led several successful projects in Digital Humanities, knowledge organization, and conceptual modeling, including work with CIDOC CRM. She has collaborated with multiple international working groups, such as CIDOC CRM SIG, IFLA BCM RG, and IFLA NPSIG, and is a member of the ACRL/RBMS-SAA Joint Task Force on the Revision of the Art and Rare Materials BIBFRAME Ontology Extension. Massoomeh holds BA, MLIS, and PhD degrees in Library and Information Studies from universities in Iran and has completed two research fellowships at the University of Cologne, Institute of Digital Humanities.

Sophie Nobes is a Senior Medical Writer at Oxford PharmaGenesis, working within the Open Pharma collaboration to advance transparency, accessibility and trust in medical research communication. She brings extensive experience from roles across scientific communication, medical writing and education. Before joining Open Pharma, Sophie held an education and outreach role at Oxford Brookes University. She holds a BSc in Biochemistry from the University of Southampton and has completed teacher-training qualifications, including a PGCE and QTS in Secondary Science (Biology). Passionate about truth, clarity and openness in scientific communication, Sophie also contributes to Open Pharma activities highlighting best practice in evidence transparency and patient-centred communication.
Winnifred Quarshie, Recent MLIS Graduate from University of Alberta and International Student Representative in the Library and Information Studies Student Association (LISSA)
Winnifred Yaa Quarshie is a graduate student in the Master of Library and Information Studies program at the University of Alberta. She is from Ghana, West Africa, and moved to Edmonton, Canada to pursue her education. Her research interests focus on how libraries support the successful reintegration of incarcerated individuals into society, particularly during periods of transition.
She has professional experience working at the Research & Collections Resource Facility (RCRF) University of Alberta library and Museums as a Library Clerk and at MacEwan University as a Library Technician, and she completed an internship at the University of Alberta Museums. Winnifred currently serves as the International Student Representative in the Library and Information Studies Student Association (LISSA). She is a member of the American Library Association, the Black Caucus of the American Library Association, and the Art Libraries Society of North America, and she is passionate about volunteering and community engagement.
She is a recipient of the American Library Association Spectrum Scholarship 2025, the Wolfgang Freitag Internship Scholarship (Art Libraries Society of North America, 2025), the Alberta Graduate Excellence Scholarship 2024, the Graduate Student Engagement Scholarship 2025, and the Katherine Krpan Graduate Scholarship in Education 2025.
Madiareni Sulaiman, Research Data Librarian, National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN Indonesia)
Madiareni (Reni) Sulaiman is a Research Data Librarian at the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN Indonesia). Her specific interest lies in understanding how research data management can effectively support open science within the research and innovation ecosystem. As an open science advocate, she actively participates in various organisations, including the IFLA Advisory Committee Member for Open Science and Scholarship (OSSAC), the Re3data Working Group, the DataCite Ambassador, and many other organisations in the librarianship and open science fields. Additionally, she served as one of Indonesia’s representatives on the UNESCO Recommendation on Open Science, has received research grants for research accreditation from the British Academy and for open government data from the National Library of Indonesia, and has completed a short course on data governance through Australia Awards.
