NISO Plus 2022 Content Now Openly Available!

As an organization committed to making our outputs openly available, we’re delighted to share with the community all the content from the NISO Plus conference held virtually earlier this year. The 80 videos cover a wide variety of topics of importance to the information community and include not just the presentations, but also recordings of the extensive discussions that followed them — making NISO Plus a place where conversations become outcomes, which become projects, that yield solutions for the information community. Congratulations to our 2022 Awardees!

Each year, one of the NISO Plus conference highlights is our awards ceremony, where we introduce the new cohort of NISO Plus scholarship winners, recognize key community members for their service, and honor the recipient of the Miles Conrad Award — this year’s awardee is Dr. Patricia Flatley Brennan, Director of the National Library of Medicine. The Miles Conrad Award was established by NFAIS in 1965, to recognize the contributions of those whose lifetime achievements have moved the information community forward. Dr. Patricia Flatley Brennan of NLM to Receive NISO’s Miles Conrad Award for 2022

We are delighted to announce that Dr. Patricia Flatley Brennan, Director of the US National Library of Medicine (NLM) will be the recipient of the 2022 Miles Conrad Award, a lifetime achievement award for those working in the information community. As an internationally renowned member of our community, Dr. Brennan will join a long list of industry leaders, innovators, and opinion-makers who have received this prestigious award.
