What Attendees Told us about NISO Plus Baltimore

The NISO Plus event in Baltimore was much anticipated, as it was our fifth anniversary NISO Plus conference and the first to be held in person since our February 2020 inaugural meeting. We are pleased now to report on the event and share some of the feedback we received. The conference hosted 225 attendees, a slightly higher number than our first NISO Plus in Baltimore, representing organizations from across the information community. Thirty-one percent of attendees were from libraries and 24% from suppliers or scholarly infrastructure providers, and an additional 24% were from publishing organizations. The NISO Plus Scholarships are awarded every year to a group of early-career and emerging professionals who feel that their views are underrepresented in the information community. The scholarship program plays an important role in supporting NISO’s strategic goals, which include connecting diverse stakeholders and inspiring collaboration among them.
